Great idea! Also, could there be a way to manually add points for products not sold through Fanbase e.g. tickets to away games where we could add points if supporter presented their away ticket stub to us.
Michael Crawley
James Yep that is part of the build :)

Michael Crawley that's brilliant! How do you envisage the points connecting to access rewards such as merchandise and sponsor deals?
Also, while on the subject, I've got a couple of more ideas...
Could there perhaps be a way to integrate with a POS system at the club to connect ticketing spend with food and drink spend and shop merchandise spend? Perhaps the ability to CSV upload £ spend from POS systems into Fanbase after a fixture to keep the £ spend in Fanbase on each fan account?
Could this then build into the Fan account view where they can see the £ spend alongside number of tickets purchased and grounds attended, and perhaps take it a step further an gamify it so they can see their numeric rank against other supporters spend?

James Yeah we definitely want to crack unifying the data and reaching that single view of the fan. What platform do you use for merch sales online? And what POS system do you use?
Re rewards, we are enabling clubs to create rewards with a certain points allocation which the fan can spend their points on. It is then up to the club how they want to fulfill these rewards. As an example, if 40 fans spend their points on a T-shirt then this could be collected at the next gameday. You will know who has claimed what report so can email something out vs handing out a physical reward.
Reward schemes are so popular in other verticals, very excited about enabling this for the UK sports market. Historically UK football has focussed on points getting you access to big games which can become quite tense (but useful), but not considered wider rewards and incentives which can be fun and engaging.

Michael Crawley at the moment another company runs our online store but we have previously used Shopify and will probably return to Shopify at some point.
In store we use EPOS Now so this is different to the online store.
